Snail Mail

Recently, I wax sealed some holiday party invites and found it to be quite fun.

This got me thinking, wouldn't it be nice to send and receive some old fashioned mail this holiday season? Of course, when you send letters in the mail, it would be nice to receive something in addition to the hand written letter. So, I've compiled a list of things one can send in an envelope.

[ ] A small chain
[ ] A flat pendant
[ ] A monthly calender page with planned activities written in
[ ] Business cards
[ ] Menus
[ ] Flyers
[ ] Maps
[ ] Old post cards
[ ] Old money
[ ] Fabric scraps
[ ] Origami
[ ] Hankerchief
[ ] Un-assembled Kinder Suprise toys
[ ] Coloring page
[ ] Sudoku
[ ] Puzzles
[ ] Crossword puzzles
[ ] Newspaper clipings
[ ] Fortune cookie readings
[ ] Feathers
[ ] Tiny flat notebook
[ ] Glitter/ confetti
[ ] Dried lavender
[ ] Sachet/packet with seeds
[ ] Recipes
[ ] Sheet music
[ ] Pages from old books
[ ] Slap bracelet
[ ] Tree bark
[ ] Collection of old stamps
[ ] Ribbons
[ ] Magazine articles
[ ] Drawings/ paintings
[ ] Photos
[ ] Temporary tattoos
[ ] Stickers
[ ] Keys
[ ] Pressed flowers
[ ] Dried leaves
[ ] Gift cards
[ ] Tickets to concerts, games, etc.

Let me know if you've tried this out and what sorts of things you like to add to your letters.
