Orange Leaves

It may seem strange, but, I've always liked it when I'd get the rare apple with a leaf still attached.  It just looks so pretty as though it was just picked off the tree.

But, the leaves are usually dry/ wilted.  So, imagine my delight when I saw these:

They are from Highland Farms.  They just reminded that I want a lemon tree.  But, those are hard to come by in Canada.  Plus, they'd have to be kept inside in the winter.  I'll be on the look-out for one.

  1. One of the best parts of living in S. CA is citrus trees that bear winter fruit. I have an orange, tangerine, and Meyer lemon. One orange tree is a winter and one is a summer so I have oranges year round. Even if you have to bring your tree in during winter, do it. You'll love picking your own lemons.

My plants would have to be indoor as well... I've seen small indoor yellow lime trees. Love the pictures it make's me happy seeing the green leaves! Do you know how to grow these plants? If so I would love to learn more about it. Did you see my Cabbage I'm regrowing? :) Thanks for the post!!!

    1. I have a limited knowledge on how to grow these plants...as soon as I read that they don't do well in winter climates I stopped reading...lol...but, I'm going to look into it again, and I'll definitely do a blog post if and when I get a lemon tree. I was unable to find your post on your cabbage plant, could you send me the link? Thanks Eden :)
